Cassriel's Jewelers was established in the late 1800's in Germany. Henry Cassriel, a talented Watchmaker, came to America and settled in San Francisco, where he opened a shop in 1896, specializing in custom work, diamonds, and fine watches imported from Germany. He was given the special honor of being the official time keeper for the Union Pacific Railroad. Howard Cassriel operated several stores throughout California that became known for high-quality diamonds, knowledgeable Gemologists on the premises, and friendly service. He loved helping generations of customers that returned to our stores on many important occasions. Our Certified Gemologists offer services which include estate and private appraisals, designing fine jewelry, diamond education and guidance for a nation-wide clientele.
